Picnicking Ideas

What you’ll need:

A nice blanket to sit on. The waterproof lined ones are just right in case the ground is a little damp.
Picnic Basket or Picnic Backpack Tasty Treats: Think rice/pasta salads that can be contained in Tupperware easily, sandwiches, fresh fruit that doesn’t squash too easily. Don’t forget drinks.
Sunscreen, insect repellent, cleansing cloths to wipe your hands.
Picnic Ideas: Backyard Picnic: If you are strapped for cash and stuck at home for the weekend, then have a backyard BAR- BE- QUE – spread a blanket on the lawn or the deck and order some pizza and grab some lemonade and other drinks for a quick and easy picnic. ADVANTAGE - LESS PLACE TO CLEAN UP
Boat Lover’s Picnic: If you have access to a boat, consider heading out for a picnic on the water – anchoring up at a lake or river on a sunny day will be gorgeous and you’ll truly feel like you’ve got away from it all with your loved one. IT'S HEAVENLY.
Starry Night Picnic: Picnics don’t have to take place during the day; a night on a blanket under the stars can be deliciously romantic. Just don’t forget to pack insect repellent and a warm jacket. ADVANTAGE- THE SKY IS YOUR ROOF.
Waterside Picnic: Head to a beach, lake, river and set up near the water where you can enjoy your picnic with a view – and cool off when the weather is hot. Don’t forget your togs. Even so, carry water with you.
Blind Date Picnic: Prepare all picnic details such as food and drinks in secret from your partner, then blindfold him, or arrange to meet him at a location for a surprise. This works well when the picnic spot has a romantic meaning for the couple. ADVANTAGE- BLIND DATES ARE SAFE.
Bed Picnic: You don’t even have to leave the house to have a picnic, set up a blanket on the bed, accompanied by music and candles and you have a recipe for indoor fun. ADVANTAGE - SAVE ELECTRICITY. There are tons of possibilities when it comes to picnics, a great picnic is one that works for both your interests and when you plan well in advance for what you need. Happy picnicking!
